Responsibilties:
- Define quality, safety and environmental strategies for North American operations
- Leadership responsibilities for Quality, Safety & Environmental staff and budget
- Establish and maintain North American Corporate standards to ensure the health and safety of employees and that organization is in compliance with applicable federal, state, local and Corporate quality, safety and environmental regulations/requirements
- Interpret and implement the Global Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements established parent company.

- Work in conjunction with Global Quality, Safety and Environmental group in Spain in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures
- Lead in the recruitment, hiring and training of EH&S personnel

Knowledge, Skills and Abililties:
- A strong working knowledge of Federal, State and local regulatory compliance requirements
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certifies Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or equivalent professional designation required
- Proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication, negotiation, leadership, detail, and organizational skills
- Strong demonstrated ability to balance/maintain conflicting goals, responsibilities, and priorities of the organization
- Strong written and oral communication and skills are essential
